i installed a new touch screen digitizer and for some reason about 1 inch from the left side of the screen there is no touch response at all is there a fix to this ? i bought a zentop digitizer for my a1822 ipad

It sounds like you have a defective part.

This is most likely the case. OP try reseating the digitiser connectors on the board and see if that helps.
The other thing to note is that there is a peel for the adhesive on the digitiser cable that sticks that cable to the glass like the original screen has.

This is my second screen that has had this issue my connectors look fine. Can it be the screens im getting are bad? Should i try the ifix it brand of digitizers?
