Deactivated iPad / forgot Password

So i forgot my passcode for my iPad and now its deactivated. It says “connect to iTunes". Usually, when it in DFU mode there sould be an usb cable and the iTunes logo on the screen and iTunes should say that there's a Problem with the device. But on my Display there's the Usb Cable and a laptop logo, and when i put it in DFU while iTunes is opened, the “Your device has a problem…” message wont pop up. Did anyone understand my problem and could help me? Thanks

DFU mode and recovery mode are different. If you forgot the passcode for your iPad or your iPad is disabled, you can use recovery mode to restore your iPad to its factory settings.

  1. Make sure that your iPad isn’t connect to your laptop.
  2. Power off your iPad.
  3. Connect your iPad to your computer while holding the Home button. Keep holding the Home button until you see the recovery mode screen.
  4. Open iTunes on your laptop. It will pop up a dialog telling “There is a problem with the iPad that requires it to be updated or restored”. Choose the Restore option. iTunes will download software for your iPad. If the download takes more than 15 minutes, your iPad will exit recovery mode and you will need to repeat the above steps to put it back in recovery mode.
  5. Wait for the restoring process to finish. Then you can set up and use your iPad.
