How can I reattach my air vent cover?

The circled area is where the air vent cover broke off (the hook that attaches it to the main area) .. I wanted to know if there are other ways that I could fix this? I tried to hot glue it back on but I wasn’t able to push the vent back into place as the hook broke off again at its original point.
