Hi!
I noticed burned C6603 condensator on logic board my Macbook Pro’s 13’’ A1278 mid 2012 with no symptoms yet.
Anybody knows the cause of this?
It shoud be for MAX98300 Satellite & Sub Tweeter amplifier.

Are you getting sound? Did you try good sound test app or run a test music file? To see if you have the full fidelity of your speakers.
Cap's do fail on there own replacing it shouldn’t be overly hard.

I am , and sound is great, clear and very loud. So, I can just replace capacitor with another one?

I ordered 1210 6.3V 100 uF TANT capacitor B Type 20%
I know that C6603 capacitor should be 100UF 20% 6.3V TANT capacitor in A L1-case but I couldn't find it in AL1 case so I thought B-case could work either?
What do you think?
@mladent - The physical size maybe a problem. You'll need to physically check if it can be fitted.
