A1708/EMC 3164 — Released June 2017, this entry-level MacBook Pro retains its traditional function keys (as opposed to the OLED Touch Bar).

Kernel Panic on every boot

I have tried everything SMC Reset, NVRAM Reset, Factory restore. Nothing works. Basically a kernel panic every single time, maybe like 2 mins into boot. Sometimes stays longer. I have also tried wiping the entire hard drive and externally booting with an SSD loaded with catalina install version. During install, when it shows 3 mins remaining, Screen goes black again. Also sometimes the panic happens way earlier, say when choosing the language. Cant even install macos now on the device. Any solution? Or is it straightaway a logic board issue ?

If you tried booting up from an external drive which also failed then its safe to say your logic board has a major issue. Did you get the system wet or bang/drop it?

Time to visit someone with deeper skills on Mac systems to see if they can fixit
