Help! Music plays but absolutely unable to stop music
I have worked on trying to get the volume control wheel to go to full no sound at all. No luck. At the full low position of volume control, i can still clearly hear music playing. All other components work: flashing lights, carousel rotation, horses fully go up and down.

Don't know the device but can you replace the volume control potentiometer with a potentiometer with a built in on/off switch (example only) so that it cuts off the output? You would have to get one that has the same resistance range of course. Usually the value is found on the component itself
Alternatively place a cutoff switch in series with the output from the volume pot.
