The Dyson Ball Multi Floor Upright Vacuum was released in 2012 and can be identified by the Dyson tag DC40. It is very similar in design and mechanical operation to its earlier counterpart, the DC41 Animal.

Why is suction too strong on Dyson DC25?

I had to change the brush bar and now the suction from the base is too strong very hard to push over carpet. I have tried the brush bar reset button but it’s not making any difference any suggestions please?

Turns out the red clip on the filter in the ball had broken off and had slipped to the right with the help of a knife I could remove that and then the filter. Put in our spare filter and it’s back to working well actually it’s better as the new brush has made it collect a lot more dust.
