Repair LCD data Cable
I damaged the LCD datacable on my 2011 iMac part# 593-1352 A What would be the best way to get a new one? Or fix it?

With the machine being so new, I doubt you'll find used parts yet (I didn't). Your best bet would be to contact an Apple Authorized Service Provider and see if they will sell you a new part.

Me, too, it is far too difficult to place all pin correctly. This might/will cause a short cut to your logic board.
Hong Kong Reseller offer them for 20 - 30 $. But it takes a month to get to germany.
