Hello! When inserting the SSD into the m.2 slot, it’s just really loose and the PS5 isn’t recognizingg at all the drive. I tryied 2 different SSD drives, same result. Can you replace the m.2 slot of the PS5? Is it reparable?

You know it takes one screw, at the end opposite to the connector, to hold it in place - right?

Yes I know, I may have looked at every YouTube videos on this tutorial! ;) When I say it’s loose, it just doesn't stay at the 45 degrees position when inserting, it just goes all the way down. I don't feel like the socket is tight enough to make a contact to the pins.
I have the same problem. Where you able to fix it anyhow?
I've also same problem, noticed one day that drive was missing, when console complained that there is limited space available. now it just don't regocnize that there is a drive installed. Used same drive in other ps5 and there it reads, also there is still tension when you intall the drive and push it down to skrew it in place.

Take a picture of the SSD socket, better yet, make a video of how you are inserting it. We can’t tell what has gone wrong by just reading what you wrote.
For replacing the socket, it is repairable, but if you need to ask, you can’t do it.
