Quest 2 new battery still not charging

My Garmin Quest 2 was not working and wouldn’t charge. I thought the battery was bad since it was the original. I replaced the battery and it was working for about 2 hours but shut off. Now it’s not charging plugged into a 12 volt source(lighter plug) or the usb cord?
