Is not taking photos even on camera mode
The camera is is not taking photos even when I have turned it onto picture mode it’s just coming up with a black screen

Fire Wolf27 you can see the images on the LCD and/or viewfinder but they are only turning out as black pictures? What have you checked?

Not quite that .I can preview the old photos from years ago but I cannot take new photos using either the screen or lens, all I can see is a black screen .The photo button won’t even take photos of the black screen. I have checked that the batteries weren’t eroded ,that the card wasn’t full (it was but I have fixed it) and went through a lot of user guides to check I was doing it right .is there any way you can help?
