Where to buy spare parts?

I want to tip my toes into repairing by trying to replace the back panel and the battery on my old Honor 8 phone. But there are so many sources to buy from! Should I order parts from Aliexpress? Ebay? What is the best way to buy reasonably priced parts for electronic devices?

For the battery, you can get a new one from iFixit here. iFixit batteries have good customer service and a 1 year warranty.

For parts, both AliExpress and eBay are good. AliExpress tends to have better prices, but the shipping can take a long time.
