Engine has become loud and idle is high. I notice an oily substance covers visible areas that was not there before. When ac is on the car is even louder. I always check my fluids and all have been good. What do I check,?

It's possible you have a manifold leak and the exhaust pushing out condinsation onto the top of your motor
