Laptop has power. will not run POST?
Gateway MD2614u laptop. has power and lights on keyboard and front status lights work. It will not run POST. Power On Self Test. any ideas?

Hi, Here is a link for downloading the service manual for your computer. Before you do that you may want to try removing and replacing your memory. Some people report good results doing that. Good luck.

I would suggest pulling RAM sticks and seeing if one is not the only one stick may be bad. Hopefully you have 2 internally.
