Why black background on Android. Pictures look like negatives
Black background and pictures look like negatives on Samsung android. Tried adjusting adjusting color mode and other settings without success

It might be the accessibility settings go to your settings menu and scroll down till you find the accessibility menu and select it and then select the visions menu and turn off any of the contrast options as well as the color correction options. I hope this fixes your problem.

I restarted the phone and that fixed the problem. Thank you so much for your advice.
Open a new tab. At the top left you should see 'All' and 'Images'. Select 'Images".
Across the bottom of the screen select 'Settings' then "Search Settings". You have the option to turn dark themes off. Scroll to the bottom and select 'save'.
