The trimmer head is built in such a way that it suggests being able to be taken apart yet I cannot figure out how. There’s been a lot of hairs piling up in the springs and I’d like to get them out somehow since normal or pointy teasers won’t do the job well

There are like two plastic flaps(?) inside on both sides that holds the two pieces. Use a screwdriver or something similar to move those flaps a bit and it should come out easily

I have a different type where the trimmer is an attachment. I was able to open it up by prying along the split line, then I can clean and sharpen the blades. This type looks different though. A nice close up picture might help
