Blank screen, led 1 2 3 5 are on. Fan starts speeding up
Dropped the LCD, purchased new, and I get a blank screen. LED when boot LED 1, 2, 3, and 5 are on. LED 4 off.

Inspect the logic board connectors for damage. It doesn’t take much to mess you up if the screen pulled away.
Also did you transfer the thermal sensor to the new screen?

Agree. If fans are revving, it's likely the machine isn't getting a check in from a specific sensor. I wasn't aware this model had 5 LEDS, but LED 4 on other iMacs is generally the indicator for video is being sent to the display/display is detected. I would be suspect of either the cables, if they were transferred from the old display) or the connections on the board, specifically the one with the locking lever since the other connector is for backlight/power.
