My dyson v8animal plusates when using and doesn’t hold a charge for long yet it has 3 full blue lights showing I have also replaced the battery but made no difference

Check that you inserted the screws tightly after replacement. It could have been a bad battery at first, but then you probably replaced it and inserted the screws too loosely after putting in a new battery. If not, it is perhaps that you are using Max Mode too much.

It probably just needs filter cleaning. The pre filter on the top can be pulled out and rinsed with tap water. My V8 had similar pulsating problem and lost suction power. Replacing battery didn't help. Then I found out that yt was just a clogged filter. Cleaned it and put it back. Problem solved! Works as good as new.
