If this has a Li-Ion (lithium) battery you can try this procedure at your own risk (these batteries are explosive and handling near sparks can be dangerous have fire extinguisher nearby in rare case of emergency) splice and expose two wires of an old known working 5 volt 9 volt AC DC charger adaptor using a voltmeter test the ends to confirm positive and negative. Then quickly and carefully tap the respective ends of your battery usually positive is indicated by red wire or a nippleend of battery.Tap the ends repeatedly for at least 30-60 seconds in effect these jolts of current can wake up a dead battery or charging chip that cuts off energy to device when battery is too low to safely recharge. If you EA are not experienced enough configure out this method you can also connect your battery or device to existing charger and try plugging and unplugging the charger from socket several times in same manner.
