MacBook Pro 13" Retina (Early 2015) Replacement Battery Dies Often
I got a replacement battery kit for my Early 2015 MacBook Pro 13" Retina about 13 months ago. I followed the instructions to the T when installing the new battery (and initial charging cycle) and for the first 5-6 months, my laptop was working just like new. For about the past 4-5 months though, if i leave my MacBook unplugged from the charger for 2-3 days (Even without using it once during that time) the battery will be completely dead. When I plug in and turn on my computer the internal clock will be reset to December 31st with some random year. I also noticed the adhesive on part of the battery came loose and I can hear it flopping around as I take my MacBook out of its case. Is it normal for this to be happening this early? For $130 I was really expecting the new battery to last for at least a couple years but it seems like its already failed. Has anyone else experienced this issue? Is there a solution to hopefully revive this battery? Thanks!
