When I put the charger cable into my port it is not connecting so my phone isn't charging. Sometimes if I put the cord on an angle it will work but not always. Is there a way to repair this problem?

I've had this issue with a few phones. Before buying a new charging port to replace it, I would check mine first. Making sure all the parts were how they should be (like not bent or missing). Usually my issue was something was bent and needed straightened, I always just used a pair of tweezers to fit in it and able the fix the bent piece.
If it had to be changed though, it's fairly easy to do yourself with help of YouTube.

Thanks, I did the DYI charging port replacement. My phone is now charging like new. However, I cannot connect via usb to my pc. When I connect the cable it will charge but when I pull the drop down screen open, there is no menu to us the usb for data transfers, etc. Nothing is there.
For some reason, there seems to be 4 or 5 variations of this same model check you full model number in the settings and try to match up for your EXACT model number.
I wouldn't be surprised if you've also been having signal issues as well since the board swap

For starters, go ahead and check if there is any dirt or debris in the port. Something as simple as a dirty port will mess up your charging. You can try cleaning the charging port with a brush or compressed air.

You need to replace your charging port. Its a fairly simple DIY fix
First, verify the exact model (if you can still run it, youll find that in ábout phone'in your system settings.
(Mine, for example, is an Moto G Stylus 20201, model XT2115DL
Then, google the phone model with the words ŕeplacement charging port. I got one from elitecellparts.com
Also, get yourself a cell phone repair kit from ifiixi.com.

And mine the USBC wouldn't plug in all the way and the connector was actually clogged with debris so I was able to take a very thin round toothpick and scrape the bottom of the connector avoiding the middle contacts. I first used one a toothpick dipped and alcohol and then one without. I got a lot of fuzz out of the bottom of the connector.

Don’t think you are too smart to lose money to scams and fake investments. Losing money to fake investments can be frustrating, trust me I have been there. Go to settings, type USB in the search bar and hit enter. Click on "USB controlled by". Make sure that "this device" is selected. You may have to do this every time you want to charge if it doesn't save the preference. (Like mine is doing for some new and unknown reason)

Clean your port with a non conductive material such as a plastic dental pick or a toothpick. Clean it out. You can also use CRC QD Electronic Cleaner to assist in cleaning or High proof low water volume alcohol like Ever Clear or denatured Denatured Alcohol 200 Proof 3C. Allow to dry about 20 minutes before trying to charge. If all else fails replace port.

My motto 5g stylus stopped charging right. I put it at an angle and it kinda worked except an led old be flashing at the top. Now it won’t even turn on. I need advice please. Thankyou

I have the same issue with my dad's Motorola XT2131DL. Can you guys please tell me how to fix this without replacing the insides of the phone, like charging ports and other stuff?
