Hi,

Before disassembling it have you checked the warranty provisions for the instrument?

Depending on your location this could be anywhere from 1-5 years from date of purchase.

Maybe worth checking first and if still within the warranty period get it fixed that way. Do not attempt to repair it yourself as this will void the warranty if still valid.
