Why does my oculus shut off shortly after I power it up

When I turn on my oculus it only stays on for about a minute or so then it shuts off what do I have to do to fix it

Yes when it's plugged in or not it still shuts off

This is likely auto-sleep. Does it still go to sleep after a minute with the headset on your face?
