Chicco easy meal food processor not power on at all

I have a Chicco easy meal food Processor but not power on at all ,,can anybody have a clue about it.

Hi Bissrat endale,

While I don't have and specific information on your particular food processor, there are some general trouble-shooting steps you can take.

First, it obviously has to have power, so verify that the outlet you're plugging it into is working; try plugging in something else like a lamp to be sure.

Next, almost all food processors have safety interlocks to keep them from running when the container and/or the lid is not correctly attached, so make sure they're fitted and locked in place according to the directions.

If it's still not working, try and locate the switches that get engaged when the container is in place and see if you can manually move them; there may be food or other contaminants keeping the switch from working, so check and clean as appropriate.

I ran across a manual for a Chicco food processor/steamer, but I have no idea if it's specifically for yours, but it does have a checklist of things to look at if it's not working. Here's their list.

VIII. TROUBLESHOOTING

IF THE FOOD PROCESSOR PURESTEAM COOKER

DOES NOT WORK PROPERLY

• Check that the power plug is plugged into the mains properly.

• Check there is no visible damage to the cable or appliance.

• Check that the display is on.

• Check that the bowl (8) is correctly fitted on the base (1), (check that the fitting indicator marks are aligned properly as indicated in the user instructions section: the bowl).

• Check that the transparent lid (6) is correctly fitted on the bowl, (check that the fitting indicator marks are aligned properly as indicated in the user instructions section: the bowl).

• Check that the bowl fastener knob (5) is turned the right way (as indicated in the user instructions section: the bowl).

• Should the product still not work, please contact your retailer.

Try some of these and let us know what you find. If it's still not working, come back and let us know what happens and we'll see if there's more we can do to try and help.
