Possible to take LCD from M1 iMac 24 inch and put in early 2009 iMac?
I want to convert my early 2009 iMac 24 inch into an external monitor.
When I stripped my 2009 iMac, i noticed that the LCD was held in place by a metal frame. I thought to myself if it was possible to put the 24 inch LCD from the new iMac M1 24 inch into this one. I like the design of the older 2009 iMac, but a nicer 4.5k retina display would be so good in this old design.
Do you think it's possible?
