1 Sizzling sound from MacBook after replacing the battery
After replacing the battery in my 13" Early-2015 MacBook Pro, I plugged in my laptop and was greeted with an unsettling sizzling noise. It was similar to a sizzle you'd hear when an electronic devices shorts out. I immediately unplugged the MacBook and removed the bottom cover and didn't notice anything smoking and didn't smell anything burning. The only thing I could think of was that I had accidentally dropped a few of the acetone based adhesive remover on a ribbon cable. However, I had dried it out asap and waited a while before plugging it in.
Has anyone else experienced this?
I am typing this on the same MacBook and everything seems to be functioning, keyboard, trackpad, battery, wifi, bluetooth, etc. Should I be worried?

What cable did you drop the acetone on?

@beanman56 It was a ribbon cable that was soldered to a board below the trackpad cover. I immediate tried to use compressed air to see if I could accelerate the evaporation of the acetone-based adhesive remover. I couldn't observe any visible damage though, was just speculation based off of what I was aware that I did wrong.
