Replacing LCD/screen. At first got white screen then tried the reset (pressing home button, sleep/wake button, and volume up button at the same time. Now I get no screen and when I plug it in my PC. Itunes won't reconize it. Not sure to try and get a new screen. Or something else. Can someone help me out?

Steve,
Was the iPod fully charged before you began? Did you power it off prior to removing the old glass? Did you take steps to discharge static like wearing a wristband that is grounded? All of these things are important steps in the process. Also it sounds like you don't have a good charge.
Try these steps, let us know if it works and good luck!
1. Plug into a wall charger overnight.
2. Try powering it up by holding the top button for +/- 5-10 seconds. If no response hold the home button and the top power button at the same time until you see the apple logo.
