Battery connector socket popped off
My son dropped my wife's Switch into the toilet a few years ago, and the battery had been degrading ever since. I recently ordered a battery replacement kit and went about about replacing the battery as normal - but when I went to disconnect the battery cable from the motherboard, the cable socket itself popped clean out. I'm wondering if this is the result of corrosion from when it was dunked, even though I opened it up at the time and dried it out as best I could. Is there any way to replace / re-attach the socket, or am I SOL?
