Rubber material under the thumb area
The rubber area under the thumb to ring finger has degraded after extensive use, and there is even a rupture in the rubber material where the thumb can click down. I'd like to replace the rubber material only. Please advise.

After two years and 3 months, I had a similar perforation in my MX Master 2S product. I don't find this type of mouse the cheapest, and I would have expected better quality workmanship. This way it looks like I have to buy a new mouse every two years. I have at least written to the manufacturer, and hopefully they will replace this poor quality part in future products.

Since I'm 3 months out of warranty, and I have the same problem with MX Master 2S, I'm thinking of a glue gun with melted transparent material, I'll try to drip on the spot and use my thumb to shape it before it hardens, this material is slightly elastic and could heal the spot, but before that I'll seal the perforation with something to prevent any leakage inside. Perhaps a thin strip of fabric adhesive tape.

That sounds like a promising workaround. Yeah, you figure something that costs this much would last more than 2 years. Planned obsolescence?

The plastic button under the thumb rest on my MX Master has split and disintegrated into pieces, exposing the mechanism underneath with no way to fix the button to cover.
This essentially makes that button non-functional.
A simple replacement button would solve the problem.
