when inserting a simcard the airplanemode becomes faded blue and cant be activated, or deactivated. previous owner said it happened after a charging board replacement. replaced the charging board with another new one. same problem. which ic on the mainboard could be the culprit? anyone have expirience with this?

There could be damage or dirt in the board connectors and ribbon connectors. Check them all under magnification if you can. It may help replacing the ribbons marked.
