LG Inverter Direct Drive - No Spin Cycle with Duvet Cover

The machine will do the spin cycle with other clothes. However, when we put the large and heavy duvet cover in, it will wash it, though will not do the spin cycle. So, the duvet sits in the machine in a few inches of water. Thank you for any suggestions.
