Can someone please help me figure this out?
I bought a second hand iPad 7th gen from an old friend of my husband. Of course it was dead, so I took it home and charged it. come to find out it was locked to owner. I have no idea who the previous owner is or how to get in touch with them. so, it would seem I'm stuck .

No way past it. Some services can do it but it isn’t recommended. If your husband can contact the friend to remove the device then you can remove it otherwise your stuck with the parts
