Hi guys, my Macbook Pro has had this problem for a while with the screen flickering. I took the laptop to Apple and they suggested I redownload the current version of the OS but that only fixed the problem temporarily and now it is back. The screen works fine when connected to an external monitor. Do you guys know or have had this problem before and how to fix it? Thank you!

That's a graphics issue. I had a MacBook Pro do the same thing. Unfortunately, it may require a logic board replacement.
