I replaced the trackpad, and the haptic click is MUCH louder and makes a tinny clicking sound. I adjusted the Click intensity settings in System Preferences, but it's still pretty aggressive. It works, but it's kinda annoying. Any thoughts on if this might be an issue with the new trackpad, or an installation issue?

The Haptic engine might be damaged from what it sounds like. You still should review your work making sure you didn’t forget something.
