Hello
I am trying to use the Ifixit ssd upgrade kit to replace the 1TB internal hdd with OWC 1TB ssd. I formatted, using disk utility, the ssd as Mac OS Extended (journaled) scheme GUID partition map. However, when I try to restore from the hdd I just get errors. Can anybody help please??

Install a system and then use Migration Assistant to move your data.
Boot from the old drive to download the system and then install.
