Why is my Oculus Quest 2 only displaying 3 dots and a black screen?

I have an Oculus Quest 2 that displays the META logo when it turns on and i'm able to reset the device but once the animation begins the screen gets 3 dots then goes black. if I power cycle the Quest 2 I can see the controllers on the screen then it goes back to black or 3 dots. I replaced the face sensor with one I bought on eBay but to no avail. Please help?
