Was using it. Had to get to a hard to reach place so handle was all the way back almost to floor. When I came back to normal position it started making a humming noise and brushes won’t spin. Nothing broke and no bad burnt smells. Please help

Perhaps the brushes picked up extra dirt in a hard to reach place and are jammed and the humming is the motor trying to turn. Clean brushes and ensure they are free to turn.
