My Epson XP 960 display warned that the printers waste ink pads are at the end of their life cycle and needed to be replaced. I ordered and installed a new a complete ink pad kit but the printer still prompts that the ink pads need to be replaced. The installation was done correctly but the printer is stuck on the warning .

@pauljustyna see if this video will help you out. It may be possible that you need to reset the waste ink counter after having replaced the waste ink pad pads. See if this procedure will resolve this.

Furthermore you need to reset the waste ink tank counter via software, with WIC or another similar software.
