A week ago I accidentally dropped my phone on its screen, i have a screenprotector, the screenprotector was cracked but the screen was perfectly fine, but today i noticed there was an kins of yellow hue around the edge of the screen, with some brighter spots, what's the cause? and why do they appear now?

EB Adema, even though you can't see any damage on your phone's screen doesn't mean there isn't any. The fact is, the LCD is made up of intricate transparent circuitry that you can't see with the naked eye, but is there nevertheless. In any kind of impact on the screen there's a chance of damaging those delicate circuits even if the glass is still intact, and that's what it sounds like has happened to your phone.
Sorry to say that kind of damage isn't repairable, and the only cure is to replace the screen. iFixit has a guide giving you step by step instructions on how to replace the screen yourself.

The screen itself is readily available online; I usually start with places like Amazon, eBay and AliExpress, but there are many other sites available as well. Here's an example of the first one that came up on my cursory search.

@ebadema Most likely the shock of the drop caused microscopic cracks in the circuitry and normal usage such as using the touch screen or putting it in your pocket is making those cracks worse to the point where they're now visible.
Your phone is certainly usable at the moment and it won't cause any other problems to continue using it other than the screen may keep getting worse so it's entirely up to you as to when and if you want to replace the screen. All I can tell you for sure is that it won't get better on its own.
Okay, ithink i will keep it for now, its not that bad, but if it keeps getting worse i will fix it, thanks for all the help!
