Need to factory reset tablet with phone but cant access boot loader.

I need to factory reset a tablet but i cant access the boot loader. The tablet is off brand, password protected, and has some security features preventing usb recognization. I only have a phone at my disposal to fix it. Please, if someone could help. I heard two apps are good for this but cant get it to work- Boot Jeager, and Kingo Root.
