I bought a used Psp off of ebay to repair it. It didn’t come with a battery so I bought a replacement with the correct voltage. After fully charging battery and placing it in psp, I turned it on. The psp begins to heat up, but the console still doesn’t turn on. What can I do?

I would recommend getting a replacement battery. If the battery is heating up it could also be a possibility that there is gas forming in your battery which will cause bloating. For your safety I would recommend removing the existing battery and try purchasing a replacement one.
