Why is my input/output audio not working?

I repaired the analog stick on my ps4 scuf impact successfully and I put everything back together. All of the buttons work and the drift is gone. However, my headset which I use to hear and speak into on PC is not working (works with ps5 controller). I am not sure what parts within the controller would impact this. Nothing appeared to be damaged so I am very confused on what could have happened. The cables were restored to their original locations. Any suggestions on what to check? Cables? Components? I don’t know what is responsible for the audio. Thank you!
