My volume up button is constantly pressed

I accidentally dropped my phone and now the volume up button is constatly pressed and I can't get it to relaese.

Hoping to fix this problem, I turned off my phone and turned it back on but now it shows a menu having the options "reboot"; "wipe data" and "connect with MIAsistant" and the screen doesn't tun off. I tried rebooting the phone but this lead me back to the menu because the button is still pressed. In order to prevent the battery from dying I plugged my phone in.

I have no clue what to do now so help would be great.
