No water to water dispenser or ice maker.

I have a Kenmore Elite side by side counter depth fridge. I have replaced the water filter. There a valve that the water supply first comes into before going to filter. I disconnected the outlet of that valve and got water when water dispenser was depressed. This makes me think there is water to and from filter since I put a new filter in. I then disconnected the 3 tubes attached to what I think is the water inlet valve and when I depressed the water dispenser, no water came out of any of these tubes. Just don't know where water goes after the filter and makes it way to this assembly with the 3 tubes attached.
