Fed back 24v programming an arduino, let the smoke out, no power now
Where to begin? There does not appear to be any discolored components, one cap looks barely shaded.

Just confirming that you accidentally connected 24V into a USB port on the laptop?
What is the model number of the laptop's motherboard (printed on board itself)?
Do you mean no power on the USB ports or the laptop doesn't start etc?
