Why is my frame counter not working? and where can I go to fix it?
When I take a picture the frame counter is stuck at S.

The frame counter is a ratchet mechanism so when you advance the lever it clicks into the next catch. Often the lack or drying out of the lubricants (getting gummy) stops the action. With access to the repair manual which can be found online and the needed tools you should be able to lift off the top cover to then remove the film advance assembly to clean things and re-lube. Otherwise there are skilled camera repair people would can do it for you.
