Fan Wont Turn Faster

Hey maybe someone can help me out. I did the YLOD fix, but the fan dosnt seem to want to run faster then its minimal settings. It never did. I did a fan test by pressing eject and power at the same time before flicking the switch in the back on. Fan Runs at full speed. so i know its not the fan. and I know that the fan receives power. is there a heat sensor or something in the PS3 that could have fried ? I am puzzled by this. if anyone could help it would be much appreciated.
