No sound and cant select sound option

@larrykarakunte you did not tell us if you turned the safe mode on. To exit safe mode you can:

1. Press and hold the power button.

2. Tap on Restart .

3. Tap on Restart again to restart your phone.

4. Safe mode disabled.

Or

1. Swipe down the notification panel.

2. Tap on notification safe mode is on.

3. Tap on Turn off* to disable safe mode .

4. Safe mode disabled.

Next dial *#0*# to enter the Samsung Hardware Diagnostic Test Menu Here you can test your speaker and mic etc. See if everything passes or if there is a fail.

Next you want to check to make sure you do not have teh "Do not Disturb" option turned off. After that you want to make sure that you unpair any recent Bluetooth device by going: to

Settings > Connections > Bluetooth > Tap the cog to the right of the relevant device > Unpair, then restart the phone to see if this helps.

If that did not help go to Settings > Sounds and Vibration > Volume > Use Volume Keys for Media > On > Tap the 3 dots in the top right > Media Volume Limit > Off > Set Volume Limit PIN > Off.

If none of this worked. you can try and reinstall your firmware and/or do a factory reset. Remember before doing that, you will have to backup all of your files/. Your images/music/SMS/ will get erased. You must also have he username and password for the account you have used to setup your phone when you first received it. Without that information you will not get into your phone.
