The Dell Latitude E6410 is a 14" laptop released by Dell.

Old School upgrade and possibilities

Hi I have a great Dell Latitude E6410 so I was cleaning the thermals on the motherboard then I saw two empty slots WWAN and ENCR

Would it be possible to put those small m.2 ssd drives?

Firrst of all here is the url for the DELL Latitude E6410 Service Manual:

https://www.dell.com/support/home/en-nz/...

The WWAN card is on page 50. I wasn't able to track down the ENCR but it may be some kind of data incryption card.

"A Wireless Wide Area Network (WWAN) is a wireless network that connects to the internet using cellular technology. Adapters can also be purchased and installed in select notebook PCs. WWAN service providers usually charge a fee for their broadband service."

But to answer your question I think it is really a question of drivers for the specific adapter and I believe that laptop goes back to Windows 7. Anything else like an SSD would require a custom driver. It is quite unlikely that some one wrote one. The system would probably be too slow for an SSD to be of any practical use.

You could try just substituting an SSD for the HDD, if you haven't already done that.

Out of interest here is the url for drivers:

Also look at the Diagnostic software it may give you a name for the slots?
