How can I replace the elastic in my tent poles

It should be easy how I’d do it is order some elastic

Then tie some strong cotton or downing to one end of the elastic. Then a needle on the other end of the thread drop the needle down the pole and gently pull the elastic through the pole . Never tried but should work well.

If you don't have existing elastic to measure against, then it's worth cutting longer to start, and then cutting it shorter once you've made a first test. Take care to use a medium-strength elastic too, as too thin won't keep the poles together, and too strong will be difficult to assemble. Good luck! 💪🛠️
